Title: Management implementation of the basketball tournament Easter Cup Klatovy Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to improve management of the basketball tournament Easter Cup Klatovy. The aim is to detect its shortcomings and eventually propose recommendations for the upcoming years. Methods: This thesis uses methods of the quality research. As part of the case study, the document analysis took place first, followed up by the semi-structured interview with the main event coordinator used for getting valuable in-depth information. Lastly, two informal interviews took place to get more of a practical point of view. Based on all the data collected, the final SWOT analysis was put together. Results: The result of this bachelor thesis is a detailed analysis of the basketball tournament Easter Cup Klatovy. This analysis led the author to the following findings: the biggest strength of the tournament is the quality level as well as its loyal customer base. On the other hand, the tournament's biggest flaw is its high registration fee together with its unclear organizational structure. The Effectiveness of Sponsorship of Selected Sports Events on Public Television

Title: The Effectiveness of Sponsorship of Selected Sports Events on Public Television Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to identify the effectiveness of selected sporting events from the perspective of television sponsorship and to propose an ideal sponsorship campaign. Methods: Multiple methods were used in this thesis, which consisted of several qualitative and one quantitative method. Among the qualitative methods, in-depth interview and unstructured interview were used. The quantitative method was then the analysis of secondary data, which formed the basis for the actual analysis and comparison of individual sporting events. These methods enabled the effectiveness of the sponsorship campaigns to be determined based on the cost per unique viewer reached at least once during the campaign. Results: The results of the thesis demonstrate the effective usability of sponsorship campaigns in television broadcasting and more specifically during sports broadcasts. Their effectiveness increases with the size and interest associated with the selected sporting event. The result of this comparison shows that for sporting events such as the hockey World Cup, the objectives are based on high viewership, which, however, increases the price and cost of sponsorship campaigns. Title: Problems of sustainable development in sport Objectives: The main objective is to write a research thesis with a compilation character. The thesis will describe and discuss the issue of sustainable development in sport based on available materials. Methods: To create this theoretical research paper, the method of document analysis and study of secondary data was used. With the help of the compilation method, a synthesis of the available knowledge is formed and with the help of the comparison method is created a comparing of the studied data. Results: The study and analysis of the documents showed a wide involvement of stakeholders in the issue of sustainable development in sport. To a large extent, sustainability strategies are implemented. The reference is made to sustainability principles in the described areas (sports organisations, events, facilities, etc.). The issue of sustainable development is nowadays a widespread topic that permeates the functioning of sport at various levels and thus provides many opportunities for further study. Title: Sport Events Crisis Management by RunCzech during the Pandemic Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to provide an objective view on the possible form of crisis management in the context of mass sports events and coronavirus crisis. Methods: The research was done thanks to qualitative methods when the needed data were gathered by interview and by documents and virtual data content analysis. Virtual and documents data were collected throughout the first wave of the coronavirus crisis in the Czech Republic. The interviews were done with Saša Belovski, the Business Development Director for RunCzech, after the first wave of the coronavirus crisis. Results: The results of this research were processed with a case study. That allows a detailed analysis of the occurred crisis, which impacted not only the organization (the RunCzech in this case) but also its stakeholders. The results prove mainly the importance of pre-crisis prevention, timely and precise crisis communication and also the need for flexible adjusting to the occurred crisis. Title: Satisfaction of volunteers at running and badminton contests Objectives: The main goal of this work is to find out what are levels of volunteer satisfaction in selected marathon and badminton competitions. The methodology of acquiring volunteers and their cooperation with organizers is described before, during and after events. Based on data obtained from multiple forms of questionnaires, the characteristics of volunteering within organizing coordinators are defined. Secondary task of the work is to develop a recommendation based on research, which would help the organizers to increase efficiency of cooperation with volunteers. Methods: In this work is used quantitative method through electronic questionnaire and qualitative in a form of interview. The method of analysis is applied in case of theoretical background. Results: The research results point out to clear differences between volunteers in large and small projects. On the other hand, mutually common features may be also found. Comparing the results of both researches is discussed and described in an analytical part, which includes the formulation of recommendations for both subjects. Voluteering at Sport Event

Title: Volunteering at sport events Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to identify the most important factors that motivate volunteers in Czech Republic to their participation at sport events. A questionnaire was distributed amongst the volunteers. Detected data should help the organizers to understand what kind of people the volunteers are and help with their future recruitment. Methods: The following methods were used when writing this thesis: case studies, the analysis of the relevant and available documents, written questioning. Results: Results of the survey show that most of the volunteers are younger than thirty years and that women are slightly prevailing among them. Volunteers valued following motives as the most important for their participation: I want to help make the event a success, I want to be beneficial, I want to spend my free time in a meaningful way. In comparison with the foreign studies, which are analysed in this thesis, it showed that volunteers in foreign countries consider similar motives as the most important. Title: Application of the theory Service-Profit Chain on the example of sport event Gigathlon Czech Republic 2016 Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is application of the theory Service-Profit Chain on the example of sport event Gigathlon Czech Republic 2016. Another partial task is to evaluate the internal and external environment of the race Gigathlon Czech Republic and on the basis of data analysis to determine the suggestions and recommendations for improvement that will be passed to race organizers. Methods: Using the theory of Service-Profit Chain and its individual parts, the sport event Gigathlon Czech Republic 2016 is analyzed. Data concerning internal environment of the event are obtained using methods of semi-structured interview with the main event organizers. To analyse the external environment is used the online questionnaire distributed among the participants of the race. These methods are supplemented by own participant observation during the sport event. Title: Some aspects of volunteer work at floorball events Objectives: Main objectives of this research is to find reasons, which lead volunteers in floorball area to participate repeatedly in volunteering and get information from them, which can be used for making suggestions, that can improve future floorball volunteerism. Other task is to find out conditions which can attract more people from floorball area to participate in volunteering. Methods: Main research method is structured questionnaire, which was distributed electronically. Used qualitative methods, interview and own observation were used to get specifically related information. Results: Results of this thesis help to make suggestions, which would lead to improve organising and conditions for volunteers at floorball events. Another aim of the thesis is to find out how to attract more volunteers. Reasons of the participation in volunteering and satisfaction of volunteers at floorball events are also part of the research.
